How to boil a potato

Ingredients
- 1 Russet Potato Any size
- Salt
Instructions
- Scrub the potato under running water to remove any dirt.
- Bring the pot of water to a boil. Salt the water once it's boiling. Remember to salt it until it tastes like ocean water!
- Boil the whole potato for 10-20 minutes, depending on size.
- Check the doneness of your potato by sticking a fork in it; there should be little to no resistance.
- Remove the potato from the pot when it is done and let it cool for a few minutes.
- Add toppings and enjoy!
